today is veterans day...its a holiday...the banks arent open, that might play a huge part in why it hasnt gone through yet, especially since you did it on saturday and not a normal business day.
check your bank account again tomorrow, if it still hasnt gone through contact them as soon as they open. |

If you deposited cash at the bank, it should post immediately to your account. If you deposited a check, or at an ATM machine, it generally wont post for 2-3 business days. |

Well if you put it through the atm, which you should never do. It will take three business days for it to be posted. Being as it's a holiday and you did it on Saturday your money should be in the bank by thursday or Friday.
The banks have a 3rd party company post the money into your account that is deposited into your account via the ATM. If you need to have money into your account some banks have a after hours depository next the ATM that will be posted by the end of the next business day.
Good luck, don't deposit through the ATM, i have bounced three checks because I didn't know any better when I first got my account at the age of 18. |

Was it done after hours? Many will have a disclaimer that the funds are not available if deposited after a certain hour. Also, funds are typically not made available until the check has been processed. The processing may not take place on weekends, either. And today was a banking holiday - Veteran's day. |

Every bank has a cut off time. If you make a deposit before the close of a business day it will show a credit in your account. If you deposit cash it will available to you right away. If you make a deposit of a check then it will take approx 3 business days not including the weekend. If you make a deposit from the ATM it will consider on a next business day.
Call your bank and find out when is there cut off time for the deposits.
It looks like you made a deposit on Sat so the funds will release from your bank on Mon midnight and you should have those funds available to you on Wed.

If you deposited it after a certain time on Saturday then it will not show up till the next business day. Sunday doesn't count and today is a holiday so it doesn't count either. Check tomorrow and if it is not there call the bank. |
