Yeah best best is a student loan, probably stafford those are the ones you don't have to pay back until 6 months after you graduate, best bet is to go to the financial aid office of the institution your going to and they can get you in the right direction.

The first thing you do is apply for a student loan. Do you have a parent who would be willing to co-sign a loan for you?

Also, apply for financial aid; that can be a big help.

And most colleges allow students to do a work/study program, where you work part-time and they will pay your bills. Good luck.

There are many student loans that you can apply for. One thing you may want to check into, if you live on your own, would be a non-payback Pell Grant.

You don't have to have any credit to get student loans, you are basically entitled to so much per year, but you do have to have a bank account. You should be able to just go to the financial aid office at your school and they can give you all the information you need. Typically you would apply for a Stafford loan first. You can get a set amount as subsidized, which means that it will not accrue interest until you are out of school, then if you need more you can pull out another loan, but it will most likely be unsubsidized, which starts accruing interest immediately, so make sure you pay the interest off every year, otherwise it goes onto your balance and you end up paying interest on the interest. Your school can also provide you with available scholarship information, or just surf the web.

A student stafford subsadized loan. You don't pay while you're in school, you pay 6 months after you graduate. They're forgiving for unemployemnt instances and you can always defer these payments also. Contact your school you're about to start and speak with their financial aid rep. Chances are they'll offer you the exact same thing, so that way you don't have to do all the research. Mine's currently through Sallie Mae, and most likely yours may be too. If you have a co-signer, you can lower the interest provided to you already by having someone help you out with their credit. Also, if your parents are willing to, they can help you by a Parent Plus loan. Meaning both of your guy's names, but the interest is also less because of a parent helping you financially..even though you're making the payment.

Having NO credit may be better than someone with BAD credit. You have a clean slate to work with for your bills, and can take advantage of the fact that you have nothing credit wise, so everyone will help you out because they're wanting your business.

Talk to financial aid at your college. They can help you apply for federal loans like the Stafford or PLUS loans. Next year, fill out your FAFSA when you fill out your taxes!
