Everybody has a credit rating. I'm assuming you have never owned a credit card. The best way to build good credit is to get a card and pay off your bills on time, all the time. One good way is to have your monthly cell phone bill paid with the credit card, and pay off your credit card bill with an automatic deduction from your bank account. It's kind of an automated way to build good credit. |

You need to establish credit card accounts such as visa, mastercard, discover and american express. In order to build a positive credit score you need to pay your bills on time. There are credit cards for people with no credit such as Orchard bank card if you have trouble getting approved for a regular credit card. |

Get a credit card or something and pay it off. I have a cell phone contract and a credit card with new York and Company. I just pay my cell phone bill on time, and as soon as I charge something to the card I write a check, that way I know that it is paid for (like, I pay it off right there at the register). Try something like that. Good luck! |

If you have bad or no credit and have no credit cards try to obtain two credit cards and make sure all of your monthly payments are made on time. This will help increase your credit score. If you cannot be approved for a unsecured credit card, obtain a secured credit card. |

the way i started my credit was by getting a cell phone in my name and keeping it paid for about a month or two that would give you some credit, then apply for a department store card (i.e) like macys they would probley start you with a low limit so you wont go over your head...you can also get a secured credit card the best one i found was bank of america its $300 to start your credit limited in a savings account connected to your credit card, and if you stay in good standing with them and make your payments they would give u a unsecured credit card and give back the $300 dollars...
well good luck |

Start with a credit card.
You can always get a credit card from somewhere with any credit!
However, don't screw this up!
It won't take long to build up enough credit to move on to bank loans then mortgages.
You must however always make the regular payments an be patient before moving on to more loans. Too many credit inquiries will hurt your score.
Here's a link to a credit card website to get started. |
