This is soooooooooo honest....Every Cridt card must has Info at the back of the card ...u will find the number of the bank if not the name ...if there is nothing.. u might give it to a police staion near u and that's it....Good luck.. |

I agree with the other poster not give it to the police. I would take it to the bank if possible otherwise I would just cut the card up and throw it away. |

Option number one, give it to a law enforcement officer.
If that is not an option, call the number of the card issuer, such as 'Capital One', that should be listed on the back of the card. |

On the back of the card, there is an emergency number to call they will direct you. will probably have you destroy the card and they will re-issue to owner. |

I would do one of the following if it was me.
1. There should be a phone number on the back of the card. Calling that number and explaining the situation should help.
2. If it is a debit card from a local bank, just return it to the bank.
3. Turn it in to a police station. |

ugh i took one to the police station and they made me sit there and wait for hours and then asked me a bunch of stupid questions like i was a theif! more than likely it has been reported lost. you can call the bank. i think you could probably just cut it up though. |

I think it's great that you are so honest. It is a rare quality these days.
As far as finding out who the card belongs to, there should be a toll free number on the back of the card for Customer Service. If you give them a call, I'm sure they will advise you exactly what you should do. |

Many cards have an address on the back to return it to the company that issued it in such cases. Honestly it would be fine to cut it up and dispose of it, because most people will report it lost/stolen anyways. If you really want to go the extra mile you can call the 1800 number on the bank and inform them that you found the card. |

Yes, drop it at the police station nearest to where you found it. This is how I found my cell phone. God bless you for being so honest. |

Just cut it up and get rid of it. Good samaritan you're being, even if you could find the owner, he'd likely call (or already have called) to have in cancelled and replaced. |
