I would call American Express.They will inactivate the card and notify the owner. They may even offer you a card at no interest charge for a year--ask! |

im sure the person who lost it has reported is lost or stolen so throw it away unless you want to be good samaritan and try to locate the person who lost it. |

You need to call the customer service number on the back & report it. It's the right thing to do. You never know when something like that happens to you. "Pay it forward" ... :-) |

Call the number on the back of the card, tell them you found it so they can cut ot off and contact the customer. If you use it, you'll have bad karma. Think if it was your card that got lost. |

one thing for sure its been cancelled by now so if your thoughts were to use it you can't plus it would be just be plain wrong. personally i would get the person's name off the card and do a ppl search to see if i could find them, if not i would call a.e. and report it |

Dan, nice of you not to use the card,"do unto others as you would have others do unto you ". You can just cut it up an no harm will be done. the person it belongs to has it reported lost , and another one will be sent with a new account no. Or you can call the no on the back of the card and report that you found it and they will tell you what to do with it. I would do exactly what I said above. If you think there may be a reward, I doubt it, simply because the person that lost it may well be in a state of panic, and will not think of that at all. |

Now if it was a Black Card I'd say Shop Til you drop and don't look back! But being that it's just a Platinum card, you can call customer service or turn it in where you found it. Ha Ha |

If I had a bag of coke, then I would use it to cut it and line it up, but as I don't, I'd send it to the address on the back of the card so that it could be returned to the owner/loser. Or, you could go somewhere like France where thay never check the card, and spend spend spend. |
