Check your state labor laws. In California, if you quit without notice, they have three business days to get your final check to you. However, if the employer terminates your employment, you must be paid in full on the spot, including any accrued vacation, separation pay, etc. |

Depends whem they normally do payroll.
If you hadn't be laid off - when would you have expected to get paid for today? A week or two? sometimes three..depending on where in the pay cycle you are, and how often they do payroll.
Whenever that is, you should get your final check some days later - enough time for it to go through the mail. |
