This card was sent throught Microsoft Lottery to me. There is even written my name and Global Quick Cash. but they are asking me a huge amount of money in order to activate my card. Is this fraud too?

Yes it's a scam. Anything that asks you for money in order to let you access your winnings is a scam. There are no winnings. |

I don't believe you even went as far as replying to this scam e-mail before waiting to ask. Change all your passwords now and if you have ever put any banking details on your pc, contact your bank and cancel all your cards.
With these scam emails, not only can they get your money by you paying for that card, but also by the links in these e mails. They either lead to phishing sites, which would probably look like a normal yahoo sign in page, or these links install spies the moment you click on them, meaning everything you type on your pc is being watched by someone else. |
