paypal is absoultely f*cked up.
i paid a refund to a customer and i gave them an additional £10 as an apology for my brothers cock up.
In paypals own words they asked me to refund the buyer and to fax over my bank statement as evidence that i had completed the transaction.
Those thick b*st*rds still took the money out of my a/c and then had the nerve to say that my bank statement doesn't prove anything!!
then they passed my a/c to a debt collection agency.
After 6 months i phoned them up (BTW have you noticed that they donn't have a tel no. on their website? Never deal with a co. that doesn't have a customer services tel no. on their website e.g. dial a phone) and told them that my 10 year old nephew suggested that they contact the person i gave the refund to and to ask him to fax over a bank statement which corresponded with the date of my refund.
A stupid b*tch that worked there finally did it and then told me that i ned to chase that person up to claim my money back!!
i told them that i followed their procedures and they still took money out of my paypal a/c without my permission (which i think is illegal)!
their customer service no. is 0870 730 7191. Now everyone who has been ****** over by them please ring this no. and let them have it!!
PS have you noticed that hey also ignore your emails?
if anyone has the address for the MD of the co. please give it to me and i will do everyone a favour by beating the living sh*t out of him and then posting the video on youtube!!
it will be worth the jail sentence!! |

YES I hate paypal, they are supposed to be secure NOT!! I got ripped of 550.00 from my credit card through them and had to fight to get it back!! I did finally then I deleted my account!! |

Ridiculous system designed by e-bay and owned by e-bay to ensure they get extra bucks out of the seller by making it so unattractive to buyers to pay any other way... Hate hate hate Paypal - I reckon they are right on the edge of restrictive trading legislation, but lack the time, money or will to sue them. |

the only prob i have is that i have only ever had one paypal account but i can't add my checking account # to it because it says it's already assigned to another account. i contacted them and they say i have to go in and disable that account. obviously i can't because i have no idea what it is. |

No troubles at all, in over three years usage. They got me a $50 refund on an eBay item that was not as advertised. So, positive results for me. |

when someone files a non recieved dispute and then you cant really prove you sent it cos paypal always award in the other partys favour no matter what information you give!

The only problem I had was that someone hacked into my account and fraudulantly spent money from it. PayPal investigated and refunded the money. I am pretty pleased with them. |

I personally never had a problem with paypal. Still, I am always feeling edgy when I use paypal, because my boyfriend became a victim of identity fraud, when using Paypal.
He paid for one item on ebay and discovered a couple of days later, that someone used his paypal account to pay for a "pimp style" gold chain on ebay. He never had any dealings with the seller of the chain or knew the buyer...
He managed to get the money back, but just the thought that it is so easy to manipulate paypal data is a disgrace.

i like it..i dont like how other ppl get it wrong..ie someone didnt have money in paypal and when they paid for something it sent out a echeqye that didnt cash for 10 days and they blamed it on me then paypal! |
