I didn't pay not because i didn't want to i just don't have the money and i did go to court becauuse i couldn't get the day off from work it was all bad timming. i didn't think i had a bench warrant I just found that out. this is my first time i never been to court or had anyother traffic ticket what should I do How can help me what will Happend to me???? |

You need to go down to the Courthouse and settle it.
You will get caught eventually, if you don't take care of it now.
You'll probably just have to pay off the ticket and some fines. They may set up another court date so they can charge you those costs, too. It will be worse if they catch you, although they aren't going to be looking. |

you need to turn yourself in...all you need to do is pay your ticket, but now you gonna have to pay more than that. you will have to see a judge first. they may issue you a court date to appear, that way they can get money for your court appearance. |

I would deal with it because if you got stopped for speeding and they run your information and find out you got a warrant they can arrest you on the spot and then you will have to go to court and you will be ordered to pay a fine plus court fees and the cost of the ticket. If I were you I would go to the courthouse and deal with it before you see yourself in a jail cell. If you can't pay it all set up a payment plan and make every payment on time because one missed payment will cost you. |

You need to immediately turn yourself in. Better have someone ready to bail you out, that is if you can be bailed out. Not only will they arrest you if you are stopped for any other reason, they might just come knocking on your door to arrest you. Probably ask your neighbors when you'll be home and even tell them why they are looking for you. |

If you go to the court house to talk to them about your warrant...even if your intentions are not to turn yourself in, chances are you'll be arrested. The only thing you really can do is pay off the ticket, and whatever other fines you've earned, avoid the cops...or, if you don't have the money...but you want to take care of this ticket you can turn yourself in, go to jail and work the ticket off in jail. I don't know how much your ticket is but I believe each day you spend in jail is worth money that goes towards your ticket. |

Do yourself a favor. If a cop pulls you over, don't run away because you've got a warrant. If you do, you'll wind up in a lot worse situation.
Just go down to the court, tell them you've got a warrant and were an idiot, and you'd like to get everything all fixed up now. They'll tell you what you need to do. |

I used to work for attorneys but we very rarely dealt with bench warrants. My friend was in a car with someone who got pulled over for seatbelts & he got id'd, when they ran his name they found that he had a FTA from a year ago on a driving w revoked lic charge, anyway, he had a bench warrant too. Now he is sitting in jail - NO BOND NO NOTHIN! If you have a bench warrant, you WILL go straight to jail and stay without bond until you see a judge which in my friends case will be for 20 more days...I have been online, Ive called attorneys, Ive tried everything, he cannot get out until the judge sets a bond...good luck. |

realy on something like this, they not going to comeing looking for you, they wait, till they pull you over for, something, then hit you harder, i say, try to talk to the cort, an settel it as soon as you can,, most likely they get you another fine, for not showing up for court, are 30 to 60 day in jail,, you cant run, they sooner are latter get you, |

I got subpeona to court for a suing case against myself. I did not appear because it stated in the paperwork that I have 14 days to respond to the letter. Will I have a bench warrant out on me for not appearing. |

Guess what... I also have a bench warrant.. and it sucks cuz I don't have money either. So basically I am saving up money to pay all my debts.. for now I drive very safe, and don't drink and drive. If I see a roadblock I don't try to be brave and go through it. They won't get you at work or home. They will if you get busted. |
