Once you buy that car together, that bill belongs to both of you. You can sign any waiver you want, but it won't change the fact that if the loan is defaulted on, they'll come lookin' for ya.
You'll want to check these guys out.....

You cant unless she applies for a loan for the balance of the car. And if the banks approves it then you can get the car out of your name. |

No, you can't get off the loan unless the lender agrees to let you - this generally involves her refinancing the loan. |

She needs to refinance the car in her name only, or you two need to completely pay it off and then take yourself off the title. But, as others have pointed out, if you live in a community property state, you may still be tied to the car if she defaults on a new loan she took out. You are most likely not going to be able to finagle your way out of it and make her completely responsible. :0( |

you can't unless she refinances on her own.
You will sign over the title as and fill out a form saying that no money changed hands so she won't have to pay any sales tax (if applicable)

You cannot sign a waiver to get out of a loan.
You could have her refinance the car in her name only, but if you are married to her, the debt will still be yours anyway. |

There is no waiver you can sign. The only thing you can do is refinance the loan in her name only.
However, if you live in a Community Property State it does not matter if you are on the loan or not. All Debts and Assets acquired during marriage are considered joint property so you would still be responsible for it anyways. |

Doubt it. The loan was based partially upon your ability to repay the debt. Only the creditor can release you from this obligation and they don't have any reason to want to do that.
Hey, it never hurts to ask.... |
