I have a loan and need help paying it off..?
I have a loan from cash call, and their rates are so high. can I get a loan from a credit union to pay that laon off?? and will this hurt my score??

thanks

Refinancing a high interest loan is a good idea. Only your credit union will be able to tell you if you qualify for a personal loan. Borrowing more money could temporarily lower your FICO score but, in the long term, lowering your debt-to-income ratio will help to raise it.

screw the score, get the loan paid off.

Get a loan form your Credit Union and never go to Cash Call again. They are PREDATORS !!!

PRS
You are better off the pay off the high interest rate loan with a lower interest rate loan. Also, your credit union is probably a more "preferred" lender that will look better on the credit report.

See what cash call will take in the form of payments. Check out the credit union and ask about their rates and see how much money you will be eligible to be loaned.
Paying off cash call will help your credit. If you pay the loan on time each month to the credit union or to a credit card, this will help your credit as well.
Things that bring down your credit score: too many open lines of credit, not paying on time. Right away with these loans your score may go down a bit because they are inquiring on your credit score which brings it down at first. But after you have everything worked out it should be fine.
If you have a friend in finance to help you figure this out or even better a friend or parents who will pay the loan off for you and let you pay them back gradually, that's a good idea. But make sure you pay them back!

You may be able to get a loan from your credit union if you meet the qualifications. Usually, people who go to places like cash call and payday loans have poor credit rating and don't qualify for loans from other than sub-prime lenders.

You need to go to your credit union, or a few others and see if you qualify.

You may need to get a 2nd job or downsize to pay off the cash call loan.

Try getting a loan with prosper.com. They can help you out with unsecured loans up to $25000, even if your credit is bad. They have decent rates too.

Another thing you can do is alot of credit cards will allow you 0% on cash advances for a season. If you know you can pay off the loan within that time frame, sign up for a credit card, make the transfer (they usually charge a fee to do this, usually 3% or up to $75, whichever is more). But once you are in, the interest is $0 until the expire date of the special. So now you pay no interest (assuming you can pay it off by then) . If you can't pay it off, then roll it into a credit union loan at that point--at least the total amount would have been paid down a bit from its original total. Oh, and don't just pay the minimum payment each month or you will never pay the card off. Pay at least double the minimum, but I recomment 3 to 4 x the minimum balance if you can. If you dont', you are basically paying towards the interest and never touch the principal. Good luck!

Well, those loans are targeted toward people that need the money right then and then are sometimes the same ones can't pay it off... I personally, would try and see if there are ways that you can make smaller payments which I'm sure you can't cause they have clauses and contracts that they try to stick to.. I dont think a bank or credit union will give you a loan for that because then they would be giving you more money and they are going to want to know how you are going to pay them back...since you can't pay this other company there money....

I wish you luck

DON'T GET YOURSELF IN ANY DEEPER TO THOSE CROOKS! IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE BY TAKING OUT ONE!! LOAN TO PAY FOR ANOTHER!! does that make sense? no! just make small payments on the first loan, and if they don't like it, too bad! as long as you are paying something, they cannot do anything!!
