you are going to pay very very high interest if you have a bad credit score, be sure you must have what you think you need because if you have a loan for 20% do you really want to spend 120% plus fees for what you want? if so be very careful with you money in the future because you will be in a downward spiral and hard to get out off.
see if there is anything you can do to improve your credit, call your creditors and see about lowering your finance rate, let them know every few months that you have been making timely payments and wish to get back on track, most will try to help you lower your balances and charges if you are trying. always pay as much as you can on the cards with the most interest and the minimums on the lower rate loans/accounts. if you transfer balances DO NOT accumulate any new charges because the higher interest rate will accrue on those new charges until you pay off the transferred balance and that $20 charge will become $90 by the time you pay that off. if you have a 401k or ira retirement look into cashing it in to pay down debt, becareful to save part of it for the taxation it is like 40% to cash in a 401k before you are 60. best of luck. |
