i dunno what to do if you're in the USA but in the UK give the national debtline a call. they saved my mom's house. they do not loan money and are funded through the government and their service is free. they might be able to sort you out. don't ignore correspondence and don't bury your head in the sand. good luck mate. sorry i put the wrong web page in this is the correct one www.nationaldebtline.co.uk

go to citizens advice bureau they will know what to do. Have you been talking to your mortgage company? They usually try all avenues to help you before it gets to this stage. if you have just ignored their letters then that is not good. I hope you find a way out of this situation.

How much do you owe?

snetterton
Citizens Advice, possibly, but it sounds like it's probably too late for you. You haven't paid your mortgage so the company is taking back what is rightfully theirs.

Go see a lawyer, or phone around, most will give the 1st interview free ( they do in my area) he /she will advise. You may get help "Lea gal Aid" you may be able to Appeal the decision that has refused your offer. Good luck, and please learn a lesson form your mistakes.

Dont worry, when you go to court the court will accept your payment plan as long as it includes the mortgage repayments and something sensible towards the arrears, but you must stick to it.The courts generally dont like people to lose their homes and are used to dealing with situations like this.

Hi, i would go to your local citizens advice bureau and ask them for advice you would need to take all your paperwork including your income and what you pay out and details of the payment plan that they refused. Hopefully they will be able to help you.
Hope this helps xxx
