Apply for a credit card, Capitol One maybe. I did and I know they checked my credit history and had to find that I filed bankruptcy a year ago. But I got the card and am on my way to re-building my credit again. I will want to buy a home again one of these days. They started me off with $3,000.00 limit. |

You could start by taking out small loans...such as 100-200 dollars....dont spend the money...just take it out of the bank and then pay it back when you need to. Hope this helps...If you do anything...stay away from credit cards as they ruined my life. Good luck, peace...and i hope you like it here! |

once you get a social security # or at least a ins#, you can start applying for things, building credit takes time,
i think there is some myth out there that America just has
all this money to lend to whoever asks for it. it dosent work that way. you cant be here illeagally and be entitled
to money. |

You can start building crdit history with a secured credit card. Ask your bank (if you have one) or research on line, starting with reputable credit card companies. They may have options for someone who has no credit.
Do you have citizenship? Social Security Number? If not Worry about that stuff first. |

Apply for a credit card. If you have a good job and pay your bills on time, you will get a good credit score. Put the utility bills in your name (electric, phone) too. |

first get a job. Then do like a rent a center thing for some furniture. Get a car from a used dealer and make payments. Get a credit card, don't max it out, just charge a few hundred and pay it off.
After applying for SSN. Didn't take my husband more than a month to get his. |

Try a secured credit card. You have to put the money up front and then pay it back, but it builds credit. Also, try places like Conn's or Rent-a-center. They usually have low requirements to get their credit. Most things you do, you will have to put money down up front. |

You can start by renting an apartment. Also, you could get a credit card with a security deposit. If you get a credit card, use it sparingly and pay it off every month. Even if you don't need to use it because you have cash, use it anyway. When you pay it off each month your credit score will get better over time. If you don't ever use it, the credit rating will remain unchanged. Hope that helps. |

You need to be a U.S. citizen. They will track credit history using your Social Security number so you need to have one of those to establish credit. |

It' really hard for people with no credit my husband is going through the same thing. I suggest that you apply for something small at first like a Walmart card or Target. I know that you can get a Sprint phone with no credit and no deposit. Let me know if this helps you. |
