All that depends on your co-signers credit score. The one thing that I would suggest is not to borrow money from Internet lenders unless you absolutely have to. It would be cheaper borrowing the money from a loan shark, than most of the web based lenders. |

Yes, it is very possible. But you want to make sure that you are not going to put your co-signer's credit in jeopardy for your own personal gain. Make sure that you keep up with your payments and use this opportunity to improve your credit. |

There is always someone out there that will lend you money especially if you have a co-signer with collateral. What you have to consider is the interest rate they will charge. Hopefully your co-signer knows that they will be liable for this loan and all charges if you default in any way. |

If you have pretty bad credit even with a co-signor it will be hard to get a personal loan. You may want to check into a secure loan with a co-signor. It also depends on what the loan is for. Lets say you want to pay off some credit card debt with the loan. The bank if they decide to give you a loan will write the check to the credit card company this way they are sure you are using it in the matter you requested it for. I have been where you are. I even filed bankruptcy that was 7 years ago. 2 more years it comes off of my credit report. It has taken me 6 years to get a great credit score it is now in the high 700s almost 800. I now am able to walk in any where and ask for a loan and get it just on my word and credit score. Credit can be a great thing to have when it is good. When it is bad there is nothing worse. Not only do you have to pay higher rates on cards, but also if you rent or purchase a car you will get charged more fees. Try to clean yours up before it gets totally out of hand. Good luck to you |
