You can use your card but you will find most outlets now require you to use your pin number for processing the payment - you can try - maybe some outlets are still on an old system (which I doubt) or they have an overide for their cash register allowing you to use the card without the pin but you providing adequate ID. You will not have to wait long for your pin number though as this either comes a day or so before the card or a day or so after the card. You can use the card for paying online etc as you do not require the pin number for this - happy spending but remember you have to pay it back unfortunately ! |

Yes, you don't have to have a pin number to purchase, just charge as creditcard. The pin number is usually used for cash advances, such as ATMs. |

Is it your first card form that bank?
If its not then its the same PIN number as your last card.
Everywhere in the UK is chip and pin now. I would call my bank to find out if it has been sent and when to expect it.
Remember though, these postal strikes have ruined all normal post deliveries. Dont get angry at the person on the other end of the phone at the bank, its not their fault. |

You will need to ring customer services asap to tell them, your pin notification has not arrived, really this should arrive b4 the card, get it sorted mate asap, most places won't be able to help you if you don't know the pin. |
