lvbrdy4vr | I have so so credit and I got this card with a high annual fee? |
Will this annual fee ever go down or will it be high forever. I don't have good credit but I am working on it.Thanks!! |

If you're trying to improve your credit you need to understand that creditors want to see that you use it responsibly. You not only have to pay your bills on time, you also cannot go out and use the entire limit that you have been given. They do not like to see that.
Usually the annual fee does not go down. Use it for a year or two to get your credit improved, then apply for a card offering a better rate and no annual fee.
Good luck. |

listen. get rid of it. cc are snakes and when you play with snakes, snakes will bite. create an emergency buffer of $1000, pay off your debts excepts the house, save and build up your emergency buffer equivalent to 3 to 6 months of your monthly expenses, pay off your house, invest create wealth and give money away. dave ramsey taught me that. and you see in this way i don't need credit. i live debt free and if i don't have cash i don't buy it. try it you might like the feeling of sleeping in peace knowing you owe nobody nothing. |

pay these types of credit cards off as soon as you can. as your credit gets better you will eventually qualify for lower interest rates and no fees for credit cards. make sure you dont get tricked into accepting a card that has a lot of charges though. ie... annual fee, account set up fee, maintenance fee, etc.... some cards give you a really low limit but charge you so many fees its worthless. always read the terms chart before you apply. after establishing 6-8 months of credit history dont be afraid to ask for lower interest rate. good luck. |

I got one like that and the fee doesn't change, but I know if you threaten to close your account they might increase your limit of decrease your interest rate. Those cards are really only good for establishing credit if yours in currently poor. might be worth the 20 bucks to increase your credit score and get a lower interest rate on something else. |

credit cards are the biggest pain in our financial health one can have. you cannot live with them, too easy to use cannot live without one try renting a car. My recommendation
list all of you revolving debts Credit cards and loans.
Take a hint from the bible, pay off the smallest first while paying the minimum on the rest. as you pay off a card rool 75% of the payment you were making into the next debt, use the 25 % to avoid using CCs.keep this until they are all paid.
What I did was wrap mine in aluminum foil then put them is a watertight baggie and freeze them. Why tha Al foil? you cannot use the microwave to speed the melting, at best you can use hot water, but that gives you time to think about why you are making the purchase.
Best of luck |

When you apply for credit cards, try to open one WITHOUT the high annual fees, hidden fees, or high APR rates because that's what robs people off their money. Why do you have to pay 40+ or so JUST to have an account open? What essentially happens is people will use that credit card, and forget about the high annual fee and when it's time to pay, they have that annual fee, hidden fees, and APR rate ALONG with the charges that they made to their card... making them pay for more than the amount they're supposed to be paying.
But no, a high annual fee credit card will NOT bring make your credit score higher. (nor lower) What you will have to do is be very careful on the charges that you make with that credit card (along with all your other cards). Be sure to pay them ON TIME and even add in extra payments to increase your credit score. The way your credit works is by comparing the percentage of "spent" amount against how often you pay (along with other factors such as how many accounts open, how many closed accounts, delinquencies..etc.) so if you spend more than you pay... then points will go down.
Additionally try really hard to make your payments on time because if you delay payments, that can lower your score down to 60 points!
Unfortunately, decreasing your credit score is much easier than trying to boost it up again so you have to take extra careful precautions, especially if you have bad credit to begin with.
Also, try not to apply for to many credit cards or loans when you know that you have very little chances of being approved. Every denied inquiry is a point or two off your score! |

The annual fee will go down once your credit starts improving. You can always call your credit card company every few months to try to see if you qualify for a lower interest rate. However, it is imperative that you pay your cards on time every month. Also, make sure that you don't get charged any sort of hidden fees or annual charges. You'll get there buddy, just hang tight and pay everything on time.
If you've got a stable job with a good source of income, you might be able to apply for a loan through a website called Prosper. This site is a People-to-People (P2P) lending site where individual borrowers join in on the loans to help fund yours. The following is a link of a group that can help to walk you through the whole process:

Most things in life are negotiable. As your credit rating improves, call or write the customer service department. Request a fee reduction or waver. If your request is denied, look for another card with a lower fee or no fee.
Search the Web for the best deal for your situation. |

The fee will probably not change.
My advice would be to dispute any negative accounts on your credit report with the credit bureaus. Learn how to repair your credit at the site below.
Also, keep this account open until you get a no annual fee, lower APR card. |
