I have two fraudently transaction on my credit report, will this make it hard to get a car loan?
I live in NY someone in Fl stole my identity bought two condos and have not made any payments on any of them. The bank and the cops are investigating but in the mean time their are two foreclosure proceedings on my credit report. Should I apply for a car loan.
Absolutely not, that's a crazy question. You know this will effect you now, so it is best to wait until this is all straightened out. There is no way you will get the loan for the car, even after explaining, and writing a note on your credit bureau report. Just get this taken care of first, and then apply for a car after it is all over, you will have less trouble, and get a better rate and lower payments. Trust me, don't do it.

It will deff affect your credit rating, however if you contact the credit rating agencies you can add a disclaimer to the frauduent credit activity and although many credit decisions are automated, where there is a human involved this will be noted and can help. You may be able to speak to the police about exoneration, and they may have advice for you. Good luck.

It may very well. You will need to hire a lawyer to handle the case. This is about the only way to get it expunged.
