equifax and experian do 1 month try out...its quite helpfull

Yo, the best way to find your credit rating is to contact a company called Equifax (or Experien, I believe they are sister companys) if you give them a ring (search the web as they are a huge company and you should be able to find their number fairly quickly) and they should send your credit file out to yourself (once they have received the £2) on this file you should be able to see your entire credit history and your address. Hope this helps

If you apply for a credit card and are turned down you can request a copy of your credit report for free (in the US), so I would imagine you can do the same in the UK. Why pay 2 pounds for something you can get for free?

Funnily enough I got mine from Equifax yesterday. You can get a full online report for £10.95, or you can get one that they have to provide by law under the Data Protection act (which costs £2). They'll send it to you in the post. The one by post will give you your credit report i.e. your total credit history, but will not give you a credit rating or score.

If you decide to buy your rating online, click on the one for £14.95, but when it comes to filling in your details click Back on your browser. This will make a pop-up appear giving you a £4 discount. Cunning huh?

Spook
Experion. They're actually doing a 30 day free trial so save yourself £2 !!!!

In the US it would go to one of the big three credit reporting agencies: TransUnion, Experian, or Experian. Try searching for "Credit reporting agency UK" and see what you find.

Witchy Woman
If you apply for a credit card and are denied you can get your credit report for free.

keni
equifax.co.uk

avoid the expensive buttons, click the Personal tab, then at the bottom on the right is the "Statutory Credit Report"

good luck

To the relevant credit reference agency - the big ones are Experian and Equifax.
