He'll probably be charged and will have to pay a fine. Perhaps he will also need to repay the debt.
Was the credit card from someone he knew? Such as another person who lived in the same household? If so, then in Ontario, it is not considered a criminal case, but a civil case, and the victim will have to file civil charges. |

It is theft according to law. Whether it is a felony or a misdemeanor will be governed by how much he charged on the stolen card. Either way, he will need a lawyer to guide him through this and make him realize this is not a path he needs to go down anymore. |

using someone elses credit card by law its a feloney and 2 yrs in prison I dont think its worth't it depends on the charge that u put on the card less that 249$ its a missdenour up to 90 days in jail over 250$ its a feloney 2 yrs . take care and dont do't . |

He will be charged with theft, have to pay fines and may go to jail, depending on his previous record.
He should go to jail, we do not need more dishonest people among us.

Its considered as Impersonation and is punishable offence. Am sure he learnt a lesson the hard way -- it sounded too good to be true to use someone else's card. |
