Get some cash paying jobs. The extra money adds up. It won't take but a few months if you work real hard. We haven't gone bankrupt (knock on wood) my husband & I both take the oppurtunity to earn some extra cash when we can. Maybe clean a couple of houses a month thats pretty good money. Save it!!! Cut back on some things internet, cable tv, don't go out, eat sandwiches, cook (its cheaper). I know it will hurt but it's not forever, just a couple months. It's the only way I know. |

Did you actually FILE bankruptcy?
If you didn't, call all your debtors and let them know EXACTLY what your situation is - they will work with you on a payment plan. Consolidate all the debt possible.
Cut all expenses possible.

I'm in a similar situation, I just keep working and payin bills as much as I can. I owe friends so they come first. I try to get my name out on my own and increase business one customer at a time. I still do not see the light at the end of the tunnel, but at least now I am looking for it. |

Um...doesn't bankrupcy automatically clear your debts, but make you blacklisted for credit and unable to have a bank account? You shouldn't have this debt if you are bankrupt, unless you owe it to a more dodgy area, like gambling... |

filing for bancrupcy would work. but that means you will have no credit once you file for it.
you should read up on it and research the outcome of bancrupcy.
