Save up your money and buy one outright, it's better to spend money you have.

I would suggest to save up like 2K and just get a cheap little car. You won't have payments and insurance will be cheaper.
But if you want a car, you can get approved... your APR will just be high and you'll end up paying 30,000 for a 10,000 car. lol |

Sounds like a great opportunity to start looking for a car you can afford, not payments you can afford.
Save up and pay CASH for a good used car. If you have "a lot of open loans" then you certainly don't need to pile more debt on that. |

I'm sure there are a lot of places that will finance you. But your interest rate will be very high, and if you don't have a sizable down payment you will be upside-down for years. meaning you will owe more than the car is worth. If at all possible save up for a down payment or try to buy a cheap car now, and save for a better one when your credit is better. |

See if any family can help you co-sign for the car for about a year and then you should be able to put into your name thats how its usually work but try to see if there's any car with heart in maine sorry I'm over here in MN so I can't really help but try to find a CAR WITH HEART or else a used car but be careful they be scaming people |

Be very,very careful doing this!!! There are a lot of buy-here-pay-here, lots all over the place!!! They will sell you a shiny, worn out picice of crap, and charge you 2x for it !!! Some national franchises are spreading across the counrty ripping people off, they take all of your $$, and car breaks down before you even run out a tank of fuel!! I will not discredit /indorse any of them, because then they could sue for slander!! But if any of them help sponsor a NASCAR racer, then RUN away !!!!!! |

You're living in a dream world Kayle. The faster you face reality the better. You can't afford a car princess. If you find a sharpie who'll sell you a new car, you'll just add to your pile of debt, and if you buy a clunker, if it breaks down what then? Pay down what you owe, then start thinking about saving your cash to buy a car, not financing it. Smart people don't finance! In the mean while use a bike ( it's free transportation)in the spring summer & fall, use public transport in the winter or car pool. It's all about personal discipline and financial hygene Sweetie. |

I don't have all that great credit, but I was approved for a 2008 impala. I think it depends on the bank whether they are willing to work with you or not. But if you can't get approved, just try a used car place. That would probably be your best bet, cause they will see that you have all those open loans, and if you have not been keeping up payment on those, they might deny you credit, but it is possible they will. Look at me for crying out loud, I just got a brand new car, and my credit is jacked up, I'm still trying to rebuild my credit, from a bankruptcy that I filed in January of this year. |
