No you don't....There are several highly predatory card carriers that love to trap people like yourself. They issue cards that are designed for you to fail and for them to suck the max. $ out of your pocket.....Such companies issue low-limit cards like $300....then hit you with huge up front "fees" that often go as high as $250....So you're actually left with $50 in available credit....This is how they trap you.....it's almost instant "over the limit" fees for them.....When you mail in payments...they will never be posted on time....so late fees there.....See what I mean? It's a trap |

Ha! No such thing. You may be able to get a "secured" card if your credit is that bad. It's not really credit, though. You send them a check for, say, $1000. Then, they give you a card with a $1000 limit. When you use the card, you're drawing against your own $1000. I will never understand why people do that. |

Ask about secured credit cards . They are a low limit card that is secured against mony in a bank account . It helps build your credit score by giving you the chance to show you can manage the credit and make regular payments. If you miss payments they take the mony from your bank account that secured it and close that credit card account. The money that is securing the account earns interest and after a qualifying period you may be able to change to an unsecured card . |
