This is an 'advance fee' scam.
You cannot win the lottery if you didn't enter.
You don't need to pay a fee to get your winnings in the UK lottery.
If you pay the money, you will never see it again, or the 'winnings', they might even ask for more, or steal your ID to rob you.
Please ignore the message telling you that you have won, don't reply to it. |

Although this is indeed a scam, the best way to answer this is to write to the company and thank them for the winnings and ask them to take the £1000 off the winnings that you have gained and to send you on the rest. If you are concerned about giving out bank details ask your bank for a new account and make sure they agree that it has never to process any transaction that would put your account into the minus. |
