lol na, we are moving 1 week on friday, and need £200, as bills went out and were more then usual (Bloody gas and electric!!) I have spoken to YES loans, but they ask for a guarantor, which I cant do, anyone know another company which does a reasonable loan? I have never borrowed before, and dont want to, but its purely because of 2 bills that went out, and its for deposit for house we are moving into!!

If you have a cheque gaurantee card you can go to cash generator and give the upto 6 £100 pond cheques which they won't bank for 28 days. But they charge £14.90 per cheque. 3 cheques will get you £255.30 and the £300 will leave your bank after 28 days. You need to take a letter dated within the last 5 weeks. Its a rip off but if your stuck then its an idea. |

Try provident, they will lend you money, they don't ask for a guarantor or references. The down side is they have a high interest rate. Best bet would be to ask your bank for a loan or overdraft. |

Can you not ask for an overdraft at the bank? They are usually good at giving those sort of things, especially since it's not that big an amount (it's not like you're asking for £1000's!!). |

If you have never borrowed before then there should be no problem in borrowing from your bank by means of an overdraft. if that isn't an option then you are going to have to use a doorstep lender such as provident as they pay out quickly, steer clear of people such as YES loans as they are a scam.
