You should be able to get a loan from a predatory lender, but their rates will be in excess of 12% and they will require paycheck stubs from your current employer.
I URGE you not to go down that road. They are interested in selling you the car, colelcting the down payment and a few installments, and repossessing the car. That's how they make money. The people that can afford a car don't go to predatory lenders... they use in house financing. However, it's up to you. Please exercise caution.
You can find a predatory lender without any difficulties. Drive down any highway in any major city and you'll see signs like "WE can finance you" or "bad credit - no problem." Pull into one of those places with a couple of grand and a few months worth of paystubs and you should be set. If you lack paystubs, bring deposit slips or anything else that they can use to verify money going into your checking account. |

As a poster above says, only lenders who will rip you off will be interested. You will pay over the top prices and pay over the top interest rates. Often these places also give you substandard cars.
Save up for a reasonable secondhand vehicle. |

Why are you getting paid in cash? Why did you file bankruptcy? What are you hiding? Getting paid in cash will only hurt you in the long run when you're ready to file for social security or try to obtain disability. Do you realize you're not getting social security credit for that work? Dumb...really dumb. |

I'm sure they will be a shark out there somewhere that will give you a loan, but don't do it!
It's taken me 7 yrs to get out of debt because of unscrupulous people like that.
If you've already been bankrupt once why go down that road again? |
