You can try the Citibank Platinum Card it is 0% APR for 12mths then 8.49% after that. Just try not to default & keep your credit in good standing. Good luck!

There are many web sites where you can find the best offers from major banks. As for me, I prefer to search plastics at http://www.credit-land.com/1001/1001_page_13370_32271.php
There is handy navigation; and very beneficial offers are listed there.

For your first credit card you can try Capital One. They will extend cerdit to just about anyone. But, if you have never had credit before, they will start you off with a low limit, $500 or less. But this is a good thing. Fo your first credit card, you don't ever want to get in the habit of carrying a balance.

PAY YOUR BALANCE IN FULL EVERY MONTH. That is so very important! Within time, you will receive tons of offers from credit card companies offering you credit.

Ps, make sure your first credit card has no annual fee, no monthly "maintenance" fees, and if you never carry a balance, it doesn't matter what your interest rate is. As you build a reputable history of paying your bill on time, the rate will lower and your credit score will soar! =)

Stay out of debt and away from credit cards is my advice.
