try to get dept store/gas cards or cards like best buy,target etc.
always find out what interest rate you are paying and read all the fine print. some companies trick you by offering all kinds of bonuses and you are caught up and overlook the really important facts such as (interest rate, late fee charge, annual card charge, charge for cash advances, etc.)
don't get a lot of cards either, you will find that once you get one the offers will start flying in like crazy.
what ever ones you get if you cant pay the balance off pay more than the minimum due. |

There are 2 simple ways to build credit. One is to get a low interest credit card and then pay it off every month, or dont use it at all. This creates a paper trail on you that shows if you can be responsible or not with credit.
The second thing you can do is to get someone with good credit to co-sign a loan with you. This is risky because if your the one responsible for the payments and you fail to pay, the co-signer becomes responsible for the loan and you hurt both your credit. |

get a store credit card--get a secured credit card--one that you send money to say $100.00 and that is all you can spend and then use it and pay it right away that will help you start to build credit. Just make sure that you always pay on time or your credit will get ruined very quickly |

Get a store credit card...Target, Dillards...charge a small amount and pay it off in payments...don't pay it all off at once. After the first small amount is paid off...charge another small amount and do the same thing...by doing this, you are establishing on time payments which is something they look for.. |

apply to credit card agencies until one or two accepts you. after that, always pay your bills on time and not go over the limit. once the agencies see you are good at paying your bills, that's how your credit score goes up. also, don't open too many credit cards cuz the more you open, the credit bureaus put you in the risky category and lowers your score. just within time and history, you can bring your score up. everyone starts from nowhere at one point of their lives. |
