I work full time but really need some extra cash I would be willing to work from 6pm - 11pm most nights and also weekends. or just ask for overtime ? Remember some places take a dim view and it may say in any contract you are not to take on any extra work (this is because you are supoosed to have 12 hrs between shifts and if you take any other work on you will be too tired to carry out duties on main job and you may become a danger in the workplace (depending on the work you do)
Any second job is now also taxed at same rate - where as up until about 4 yrs ago any second job was tax free. Not anymore. You can complete a P46 for any new or second employer.

You could sell stuff on ebay. ( Ebay walks you through the steps right on their website.) Get it from your closet, garage, thrift stores, other people, etc. Small things like clothing are easier to mail. Just stick it in a padded envelope. Or sell stuff on www.craigslist.com UK (it's free). If you're not familiar, it is like the classifieds in your newspaper but is world wide. I know of someone who is a full-time dental assistant here in the U.S. but makes more $ on craigslist then at her job. Otherwise babysitting is good. Spread the word that you are available to everyone and anyone. Put notices up in your local laundromat, grocery stores etc. Also gas stations and grocery stores usually have that shift and often need help. Check with cleaning agencies. Most offices are cleaned in the evenings. Good luck!
