pay all your bills on time, preferably early. Take a small loan out with the bank and that boosts your credit (if you pay on time)> When I turned 18, I put $5,000 in the bank and then "borrowed" against it. They just froze the 5g's in my account and I paid it back. I also got a high interest low credit limit ($200 to be exact) Credit card. Everything I purchased, I paid back in full *so I got no interest fees* Im 20 now and my credit score is like a 700!!! I work hard and pay my bills on time. Thats all you really need to do! Oh yeah, with a cell, they will probably just make you put down a $100+- deposit if your credit isnt good enough. Good Luck |

Buy something with a credit card, and pay the credit company right away. |

Depending on how fast you want that cell phone you may need to put a deposit down on the cell phone. They hold the deposit for a year and return it to you in a year.
To establish credit I think you're looking at a year. Get a secured credit card (You put money down $300 or more) and get a credit card against your own money.
Good luck! |

I would get a gas card. Its like a credit card that has to be paid off every month. that was you can't get into major debt and you have to use it for something that you buy normally. Most gas card companies do report to all three credit bureaus so it should boost your score quite quickly. Good Luck! |

In order to have a credit report for a company to check, you must have a bank account, (checking at a local bank or an online checking) and a credit or debit card so they can check your reliability of paying.
The easiest place to get a credit card is a retail store. Any store where you regularly shop for clothes, movies or DVD's, technical stuff, WalMart or Home Depot. Pick one or two and use them for 1 or 2 SMALL purchases a month, for 3-4 months. Make sure you either pay the money you owe in full every month, or more than the minimum payment every month. Be very careful about the money you spend, because you can wreck your credit by not being able to pay, before you even establish it.
It will take a few months for your credit to be reported to the credit bureaus.
Good luck,

Borrow funds with no credit check, just to hold them on deposit. Make some payments on the loan, then give back the deposit to pay it off. You only need $150. to start, instant funding. |

Go to a credit union and tell them you want to establish credit.Get a credit card from them. This is to start credit.Things get tough destroy the card. |

Legalize it!

if youre able to whenever you make purchases finance them, and pay more than the minimum payment...Make these payments with your credit card and always pay back the full amount every month.
The only way to rebuild credit is to show creditors that:
"look i have money, I'm making purchases, they're not late and they're paid in full" |

Yup you can boost all of our credit and not use it at all. Cash only, down with the criminal credit system. |

You get one from your bank. You use the card sensibly and better still, clear the credit at the end of each month when you get your monthly bill. |

I'm in the same boat. There are a few ways you could boost credit. Pull out a bank loan and use the money from the loan to pay it all back month to month until it is all back. You will end up spending a bit more for interest, but you will build up really great credit. Also you could get a credit card and only purchase things you know you can pay off easily. Like things under about 500 dollars. Then make sure you pay things off in a timely manner. |

Get a credit card and use it moderately. Pay more than what they ask for the minimum monthly. |
