If you have a stable job with a good source of income, you might be able to apply for a loan through a website called Prosper. This site is a People-to-People (P2P) lending site where individual borrowers join in on the loans to help fund yours.
It also depends on what interest rate you are able to secure with your credit. The loans on this site are with a 3-year term. Each month you pay principle plus interest. If you pay more off sooner, the payments stay the same, which are then compensated with increase in the principle. This could be a good avenue for you. Best of luck |

at citi finacial you can get a loan if approved up to 6000. they use your car a callateral, but its a 5 year loan, like 200 a month |

You should be all right and not have to pay that high a interest rate. Try my profile under debt. You will see even the unemployed can get a loan for seven per cent maximum. Five gees is not too much so you might consider a low rate credit card, funnily enough you can try my profile under credit for such cards. I personally use an international card and have never had any problems, especially with the credit limit! |

20% is WAY TOO HIGH - That's like getting a loan from a credit card. Go to your bank or credit union. A 5,000 loan shouldn't be to hard to get. |
