From my experience, I received all credit reports from the three (3)credit report agencies free. But the credit score, after calling each company and requesting a credit score, all told me that I had to pay between $4.95 and 10.95. So I went with the cheapest company and paid $4.95, Transunion. |

You can get your credit score for "free" from any number of agencies, or you can write to any or all of the three credit reporting bureaus for a copy of your credit report. The trouble with "free" is that it is never "free." The companies that look for your credit scores and reports all want you to sign up for some program sold by them for a fee over time, which is how they get by with telling you your credit report is "free." If you buy a new car or rent a home they will frequently run a copy of your report to determine if you are a good candidate with a stable history of paying on time. I can't get you a free report, but there are a million companies out there that will sell you something and give you the report. Call your credit card company and ask them if they will provide it. They may. For a slight charge. |

The free credit report.com does work, but it makes you answer alot of questions of account numbers that would be on your credit report. Which is such a contradiction because if you had access to those numbers you wouldnt be needing a credit report
So one that works easy is privacy matters just type that in.
Initially they will charge you a dollar fee, no big deal. But they ask you questions that you would know so you can print your report right off the computer. They give you 7 days to cancel before they charge a 15 dollar fee. so by then you can print it up and cancel as soon as you do. Good luck |

The only reputable site is listed below. Most of the others are scam sites that will sneakily sign you up for other services (I know from experience). In fact, Free Credit Report is one of the WORST offenders that way. Watch out for them. If you do decide to go with Free Credit Report (mistake) be prepared for mysterious charges to show up on your credit card, and be prepared for a battle to get those charges dismissed! |
