What kind of trouble? Jail, call a bondsman. If you just need the money, there are all kind of quick loan companies if you search "need money fast" on yahoo search there will be tons of options. You can probably get a secured loan through your bank as well.

Assuming your credit is good, go to your bank or credit union for a loan. Be truthful with them, as lenders can spot weaknesses such as hiding information. While it may be embarrassing, it may also be the difference between getting approved or turned down.
If you cannot get a loan from a bank or CU, try family, or a finance company. They charge ridiculous interest, but paying a little is better than your husband continuing to be in big trouble. Family would be the less costly of the two. |

To raise 5k, you need to make a hard look at everything around you -- you are looking for assets -- something you have that others need/want. Then find a buyer. You can list almost anything at ebay. You can also look at pawning/bartering. Friends & family *may* help with loan. Are you expecting a refund from IRA? If you have a pay check coming, you can get an advance -- it all adds up.
Raising 5k is not a big deal. What you are signing up for in order to get the 5k -- now that is where the whole game is. |
