yeah why not, everyone else does,i see the credit reports every day, just make sure, you do not go on the electoral role for 6 years, don't apply for credit of any kind and when you move do not have your household bills in your name,in fact you will have to become invisible for at least seven years,so good luck |

I don't know what a moonlight flit is, but I'm guessing the 26 grand didn't go toward an education.
File chapter 11, like Trump the chump did. |

While i understand the sentiment...and can easily empathise...they are credit cards...not hotel rooms.
The best thing we can do is form a debtors union...all change our names by deed poll...and confuse the buggers so much they give up trying to chase us!!!...HA HA!!
Alternatively...we could just pay our bills. |

I would, or you could try cutting your cards up and working out a repayment plan, write to the companies and ask them to stop all the interest on your repayments and then make them an offer that you can afford each week. Good luck and happy economising |

If you go bankrupt it doesn't just mean all your debts are written off. You'll be allowed no credit whatsoever which means you can't buy a car or house for example.
Currently, I think you stay bankrupt for 3 years although there are plans to change this to 1. But those plans also include changing it to 15 years for anyone who deliberately makes themselves bankrupt. Even after the bankruptcy period you could still find it impossible to get credit because you'd be too high a risk. |

even if you do this you have to think of what may lie in your future. While skipping out on the bill may seem like a good option in the long run claiming bankruptcy or paying them off over a long period of time will ensure that in the future you can reclaim your credit rating and enable you to apply for loans to buy a house etc. the choice is obviously yours but I beleive that thinking long term will be better than thinking of the now. |
