If you used a fake address, the account won't even be opened. Credit card companies verify addresses as part of the approval process. If the address exists, the account may be opened but the card will be sent to that address. If someone there decides to use the card, YOU will be responsible for payment. Smooth move, Ex-Lax!
FYI, using a phony address is credit card fraud and is a felony in many jurisdictions. |

Of course fraud was the intent or it would not have been done. The card will go the the adress you put down and then if that address does not exist it will go back to the CC company and be cancelled.
You do not deserve to have a CC if you can not be truthful and act so immaturely. |

That is going to launch in investigation if it varies drastically. Anyone can understand a number or two difference, but if it's way off?
I can't imagine why in the world you would have done that unless you were trying to commit fraud. |

Best phone the company before you're charged with fraud or deception |

There should always be a link where you can change your details as what if someone moves home. Just ask them, where can you go to change details of address since you "moved" homes ^_^ That should work |

Of course it's fraud. You don't even live in the US.
I'd investigate to see if you're not part of an identity theft ring. |

Yah you just committed a felony. Basically, you filed an application for a loan with incorrect contact information on it. That is a crime that is currently getting a lot of attention because it is a red flag for identity theft. |

Why did yout put a fake one in the first place?
You should know if you want to register bank cards or anything use your own address. If the address is actually real they will now have your details and you could end up in serious debt. I would ring up. |

Call their customer service line and tell them that you moved. They'll cancel the old card. (the person who gets it can get cash advances without verifying the card). Then give them your real address and they'll send you a new card. |
