The Wraith of God is coming
Find internet creditors that are selling card for master card etc. read the fine print do not buy a card. Look for low interest rates as possible use the cards as cash, then pay them off the entire balance in that month. Never be late, never pay late fees and finance charges and the bad credit part will eventaully go away.

Paying the debt merely says its paid but it will still say you were 120 days late so it still reflects negatively on you.

you can get a credit repair company to help you! but here is a bit of advise pay the collection then get a small credit card and put 10 dollars worth of gas on it and pay it off every month. don't let any one pull your credit for at least 1 year and pay all of your bills on time. do not go out and get into any more debt.

Time will heal the wound as long as you keep any other debts up to date. If you can make an arrangement to pay back the accounts it will help a little (an R8 is better than an R9 write-off).
Anything short of bankruptcy usually takes 3 years to clean up.

Some banks will let you get a credit card if you can secure it with cash or if you get a small loan with a co-signor it all helps to rebuild a good repayment history.

use lexington law firm, they will contest all of your negative items untill everything is gone. And it does work, worth the money if you really want a clean slate.

bad credit stays for 7 years, so it'll be a long time b4 u can get a better one. jus pay the bills on time, dont give minimum payments, and try to do the best you can! good luck!

Settle them ASAP! Reestablish good credit, even if it means using a secured line of credit (i.e. a secured VISA card). From now on always pay your bills on time no matter what.

You will want to pay your debt. Yes it will show as past due 120 days, however the important part is that you paid. It will show furture creditors that you did pay off the debt, albeit late. Generally speaking, it will take time to restore your credit. As others have said, pay your bills on time going forward, do not bounce checks. Contact your local credit bureau to find out ways that you can improve your credit rating. I have not used a credit kit before, but it may be worth researching to see how effective they are. Becareful with consolidating debt with credit consolidation companies as sometimes those can hurt your score. If you can do it without those debt consolidation companies by being more disciplined with your finances on your own, then don't go to them. If you are having difficulty with limiting your spending, then perhaps you should seek an advisor.
