I'm sorry to say but it's a scam.
Do Not E-mail them back cos then they will know that it's a valid email address and they sell your address to other scammers.
I get a ton of those a week, some say they're from London, I get ones from BMW, MSN, Google they use a bunch of names.

depending on what email server it came from you can report the fraudsters. for example if it came from yahoo you can forward it to abuse@yahoo.com. you have to make sure you turn on the setting under OPTIONS AND THEN GO TO-GEN. PREFERENCES-THEN CLICK ON SHOW ALL HEADERS. This will give you the originating ip address when you forward the email. I get this garbage ALL the time. It is such a joke. You can always see that there is someone trying to gather your personal information in everyone of these emails. Also, go to http://www.scamomatic.com/ it will let you copy and paste ANY strange email you receive. It will tell you immediately if it is a known scam!!! Pretty cool, huh. |

THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT REPLY AND DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY.
I work at a bank and see this ALL the time. People get an email saying they have won money in a lottery they don't remember entering. All they have to do is send some money to pay fees and taxes. They never recieve their money and they wind up being out the money they sent for "fees"
Another version of this is they actually mail you a check and ask you to send back a portion of the funds to cover fees and taxes. Unfourtonatly forgers have gotten so good at forging checks that it is difficut even for bank tellers to recognize the fakes from the real ones. The government only lets us put up to an 11 day hold on checks (and even then many circumstances need to be met) so people wind up spending the money they recieved and then they find out the check was a fraud. They incur overdraft fees and wind up being out a lot of money! |

this is a scam i received same thing from Canada turns out they want you to send them money to secure t he money don't, when you really win something you shouldn't have to pay yo get it. besides in some states it s illegal to win money from another country. check with the attorney General from your state to verify. |
