That depends if they were already in collections.
If they were credit cards - did you pay them in full?
Paying after they went to collections does not raise your score. Although the dealer, hopefully will pull up your report and see that these bills are paid.

Reporting usually happens once a month. If you paid them after they were reported for that month then you must wait until they report again. After that your score should go up some. |

instead of auto loan, try getting a personal loan thru yer bank 2 buy the car. if that fails, u CAN buy a good used car from a localer. i did, & finished my finals in Ladder Diagrams w/ a B.
NOW order a copy of yer credit report & dispute ALL inaccurate items & give credit bureaus the acct #'s in yer dispute, STATING these accts in question R pd off & present RECEIPTS proving they're pd along w/ billing statements/agreements. |
