You will not be alone in your quandary I'm afraid, all utility bills have increased and as you pay by that method it will be more expensive;try not to borrow as it will lessen the amount you have for the next month/week,sit down and write all your expenditure for the coming weeks then what you have left use wisely,in the meantime you will have to rely on cold meals and drinks,good luck. |

Not a lot, just make sure in future that you budget properly and put enough in. You could try the DSS for a crisis loan, get in touch with your local Job Centre and get the telephone number off of them, then phone and apply. |

Put the key in your meter and £5-00 emergancy credit will come up, but i doubt that will last until friday.
Turn everything off and don't use the washing Machine, that takes alot of your electric.

This is really bad advice & I shouldn't say it ,but try one of those pounds until payday places, the interest is approx £25 on each £100 loaned but if you're desperate .............

Have you used the emergency credit button yet? I'm assuming you have. Search down the side of the sofa. You might find some money down there. I know that's not very helpful, but it's all you can do. |

a few times when i ran out, I ring up the company I'm with and tell them that I just put a tenner on the electric meter and the key hasn't accepted it, you tell them that you have kids and no electric and your meter is faulty they will come out within a few hours and they will put the emergency on for you,
I do this all the time any problems email me for more advice! i know loads who do this.
PS. if they ask for the receipt! tell them you though it away as you didn't no any problems would happen |
