I would suggest one of those Pre Paid credit cards like Visa or Mastercard. Shop around and see if you can find one that you put money into the account and then you can use the card. Also the credit card company reports your spending habits to the three main credit bureaus. |

You might have to start with a pre-paid card but if you do select one that reports to the credit bureaus to build credit. Not all Pre-Paid cards report. Good luck. |

You could try Chase or Cap 1. Those were my first credit cards when I had no credit but I was making $800 a month. Maybe try for a Student card through your bank? Also, make sure there are NO annual fees and as long as you pay off your debt every month APR shouldn't really matter. APR can be lowered later(although I think some places are willing to waive annual fees if they have them but not many.) |
