The best (cheapest) place for you to borrow this amount of money is likely to be your own bank.

If they say no dont be tempted to borrow elsewhere - there are a lot of crooks out there.

They will normally make the money available to you almost straight away as long as you meet their lending criteria.

They may well let you take an amount like this over a 3 year period.

Make sure you can easily meet the repayments. Is your job secure? How much are you spending (already) per month? - don't put yourself into debt that you cant repay.

Sometimes lenders will advance loans in excess of your capacity to repay them - be careful.

Your mum wouldn't want you to put yourself into debt for her.

I suggest that if you are not able to save at least £350 per month (currently) you should not be doing this

Once accepted, the money will usually be in your account within 4 working days.

If you earn 800 pound a month, you can kiss goodbye to 250 - 400 pound a month paying such a large loan back, not sure if you will get this credit from normal bank as you don't earn much so don't go to backstreet lenders who will charge a fortune!!!

Have you worked out your repayments, they will kill you, win the lottery instead.

You might get knocked back as banks get nervous if you're in debt by more than a years salary so £10k might be pushing it.

If you want to try, the best thing to do would be to use a comparison site like moneysupermarket.com and choose lenders with same day payments.

And don't take payment protection. Ever.

if you have a bank account you usually apply and get the money deposited in the same day but if you are apply on line to a bank it can take up to 48 hour to credit your account with the funds hope you get one sorted
