A lot of companies have sneaky ways to get you to order things you don't mean to. When they sent you an email did you save it? Can you send a reply back to the sender? I went into their website and although it was very vague (how convenient) the one email address i found to contact them is service@pchmail.com. The only other thing I can suggest is just go to their website thru any search engine, look around it and see if there are other ways to contact them without giving them anymore information then they already have. Good luck. |

When you get the invoice (bill) in, just write cancel on it and send it back. Its OK - don't worry about it. Just remember to send back the invoice with cancel written on it! |

You may be the victim of "cramming." If you signed up for "free rewards" or anything similar, you failed to read the fine print. You gave your name and address and they were able to "borrow" your credit card information from an affiliated database (still sleazy!).
Call your bank and protest the charges. |

Did you read the fine print of what you signed up for? You may be obligated to buy a magazine or something. Go back and read the rules and find out. You just may have to pay for at least one subscription and cancel anything else.

You have an email that says you order them or that you are being billed?
Either way, you typically can contact the magazines and cancel them within 30 days and never owe a penny. Any issues that come after you tell them to stop are yours to keep.
With just a little fight on your part, this should go away for you. |

There are 3 credit bureaus.
You can obtain your personal credit report by going onto their website and request your credit report. You can also call their 1-800 # and request it. There will be a payment requested ususally by credit card.
You can get a free credit report by mailing a written request with copies of two pieces of identification to their address as listed on the web site or by faxing a written request. Faxing the written request gets your answer faster than writing and is one of the two methods of getting your report for free.
Each of the credit bureaus have similar methods of obtaining reports.

www.creditbureau.ca (Northern Credit Bureau)
I'm writing from Canada. There are web sites if you live in the US where you can obtain all three credit reports for $24.95 USD online instantly. That would not be my choice when you can fax a request and get a free report. |

You can try calling them. I'm 18 and i know how you feel about teh whole credit thing. You shouldn't avoid paying though if you cant fix it only to stop you from getting bad credit if its possible to get bad credit form this. When you get the first magazine and the bill send them both back and write on it that you didn't subscribe and cancel. Other then that I don't know what to tell you. |
