be careful of any credit cards that need you to pay them for getting it. they count on you using the card to pay them and that counts as a cash advance and this carries a higher persentage rate often 28%

Check the fees again. Many of these bottom-feeding card companies want EXTREMELY high annual fees, even if they wave the fee the first year, and some even charge a monthly fee on top of that!!! Plus, high interest on any balance carried from month-to-month.
If they want any monthly or annual fee for their card and you are not getting your money's worth in rewards, stay away from them.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
If you did not apply for this, it is a scam. And NO legitimate credit card makes you send them money to get their card.
If you want a credit card, apply for one you've heard of.
Your mom should know better.

you will get it but read the fine print. If you cn qaulify for a better card dont accept the tribute. but if you must rebuild and this is the only one that will give you one then be careful and read all of the fees. Usually these types of cards are not worth it but if it is your only chance then only use it when needed.

read the fine print...carefully. look at interest rates, fees, etc.

I always steer people away from credit cards even if they are preapproved. I've seen too many of them ruin lives.
