Well, you can't run from such mallicious intentions, you gotta face them and fight them. If you like the job profile, then go ahead and take it.
I'm sure you can always handle the boss, you may ignore him or tell him nicely that you're not interested in anything other than the job.
And if he does something out of the way, then you need not worry as you're in a better part of the world, go ahead and sue the MF.
