The only way it would affect it, if you allowed your checking account to close with that negative balance and it was charged off and sent to collections. Also, you're put in a database called ChexSystems that would bar you from opening up another checking and possibly a savings account for 5 years. So with that said, it would behoove you to get it out of the negative ASAP. |

Your credit score will be affected only if you are in default for 30 or more days. At this point, your account would likely be closed, and sent to collections (either internal or 3rd party). You would also be reported to chexsytems, and have some trouble opening a checking account. Not all banks, however, run a chexsystems, uh, check. |

I don't THINK so...
normally credit is based off of money loaned to you, and your ability to pay it back.
Just to play it safe though, make sure you always have at LEAST $100 in your account ;) |

In most cases it shouldn't, but some banks may. I would call or go into your bank and ask them what happens. I know that if you continuously bounce checks they will dip into your credit.
Some banks offer a protection plan. If you bounce a check, they basically look the other way and just make you pay them. Sometimes with this protection there's only a fee on the first bounced check and after that it's free.
Call your bank and ask them any questions, they'll be more than glad to answer them for you! They do have your money after all. ;-) |

Only if the account closes or collections had to start. Most people have this happen from time to time. This is not something they report. |

Not if you have overdraft protection |

Nope, it will definitely not. credit scores are for credit cards and the only way that you will be reported to chexsystems is when you have a negative account which is closed by the bank. |
