If I went to a real court, judgement against was rendered by a phony judge, do i need to pay judgement?
I went to court in cook county circuit court after my credit card co. who told me i was in good standing, alledgedly sued me for a judgement on a credit card fraud. the small claims court judge turns out to be an actor, and not any type of real or legal judge. Do i still owe that judgement and what can I do to get out of it. Someone said i can appeal, but i went to a real court and this occured, whose to say it wont happen again in cook county daly center Chicago courthouse?

I have no money to hire a lawyer , and racketeering closed all the complaints and files and im stuck with NO Resolution and a criminal judgement by a BOSTON LEGAL ACTOR wont say who , but its 100 true and the judgement is 100 real.. have DICK DEVINE CONTACT ME.. its real.

Well I can tell you this. I had a similar situation.

COUNTER SUE THEM! I did and you know what? They went away. Because they didn't want to mess with me. I'm not a lawyer but do have legal experience and can do research.

If this court was not a court of record did they file a judgement? Is it recorded with the county recorders office? If it isn't then who cares. If it is then go after them. Turn the tables, make them suffer. Lets see emotional distress, banking fraud, etc.

As far as the complaints you filed? Cook county is still as crooked now as it was when I lived there. File against them with the FDIC, FTC, IRS, and any other 3 letter agency the feds have. File against the judge too. Just for giggles and grins.

I would contact a local attorney or public defender and ask them.

This is weird to the point of craziness! Pay an attorney to get to the bottom of this one! Best to you! ;-)=

I'd turn around a sue the credit card company! They actually tried to scam you. If they really wanted their money they would have taken the case to a real court. Contact the court house, or the prosecutors office and tell them what happened.

There is no way you are liable for anything an actor said. even if he was sitting in a "real" court room.

P.s. how did you find out the judge was an actor?

Was this for a TV show?

Was this actually arbitration?

If the "judge" was an imposter and this was not arbitration, then you should contact the state bar, and the district attorney (or state attorney general).

If this was binding arbitration, you may be bound to the terms that were decided upon--with little or no grounds to appeal on.

Another question...was this a consent decree/judgement by consent/stipulation judgement (think of it as contract--a contract that has a judgement built in if you default)?

Have you checked with the clerk to see if the judgment was recorded? If it is, then you'll need to pay.

Wait a second, you went to a court room and an actor issued a judgement against you? If he's not really a judge, then you can go back to the court and they would have to retry the case. Legally, he's not a representative of the court, so he has no standing for the county.
Appeal the case, but make sure you know for sure if this "judge" is real or not.

If you're certain it was an actor playing a judge, then pay the judgment in play money.

What credit card company would sue you for fraud against your credit card?

hmmm, What do you mean the judge was an actor? If he truly isn't a qualified magistrate, it may be a legal offence for him to pose as one

Contact your local District Attorney's Office and ask them what to do in this situation.
