jank | If a man is unable to pay back his credit card debts then does the liability to pay them comes on the family? |

Unable...or unwilling. Most people can pay but choose not to. Try personal responsibility for once in your life. You promised to pay when you got the cards, now pay up. |

no, only the person who signed for the credit card is responsible to pay. |

NO. Legal heirs are to accept the liability, before they become legally answerable. If they do not accept then the liability of deceased is dead along with him. |

if there is a family member's name on the card then yes. but otherwise no. it's all you man |

No, but it can be taken out of his estate (home, savings) before the descendants get anything... |

Not unless a family member co-signed for the person to get the credit card. Any person whose name is associated with the credit card company meaning they have a credit card with the same account number will be liable also, such as the spouse or of age children. |

Only if they are joint card holders or co-signers. If a man dies then his estate is responsible for paying. My sister's husband got a card after they seperated and they still held her responsible for debt because they were not legally seperated. I also think it depends on which state you live in and their laws. |

Only if the family gets transferred self earned property from the credit card holder. |

on his wife, and any other person whose name is on the account. |

Nope, just if they signed as co-borrowers or as guarantors. |
