The two things are totally unrelated unless you are trying to flee some sort of conviction or illegal behavior. Then, somebody might care but other than that it makes no difference whatsoever.

What for? You aint a criminal if you are declared a bankrupt. You a debtor who is trying to settle his debts as best he may and you will do this by the drip feed method.

if your bankrupt how could you afford to travel abroad. if you had the money to travel then you could have paid your bills and avoided bankruptcy. I think the people you owe money to would bring you up on charges if they knew you were traveling abroad and filling for bank ruptcy. as well as the bankruptcy court for which you have to report every dime you do or don't have. Cause that money has to go to your creditors.
