Walk if it isn't too far, that is more than 3 or 4 miles. If it's too far to walk I'd call a friend or someone to get me from where I am but I wouldn't hitch hike. |

If you are in the US, I would try a truckstop. Some times you can hitch a ride with a truck driver, you must have a good attitude, clean appearance. You can also put a sign up in most truck stops, they will have a board located somewhere in the truck stop requesting a ride but list the fact you have your own money and you are trying to get home, specify you are short on funds for your trip, include your location and your destination.
