ღ ღ ღ ღ | If you don't use all your food stamps in one month do they transfer over to the next month? |
|
|

sonrisa.traviesa
|
Yes. Foodstamps roll over into the next month. You spend the money as you need it. Perhaps you are finding good deals and saving your money and don't want to splurge using your foodstamps. That is a good thing because it provides more food for you. What you don't spend will go into the next month and maybe next month, sales won't be as good or the cost of food will go up. It's best to save as much as you can to maximize your benefit. |

The money is held in a debit account, so if not used it still remains there with the next moths allocation added to it. |

Yes...it WILL TRANSFER, add up and it's yours to spend ANYTIME (UNLESS food stamps were for disaster/hurricane,
in which case the total must be used within a period of 3 months) ...seems weird to me. |

First thing Monday morning you need to call your case worker and ask them.
Not all states are the same, I know in some states they do and in some they don't. |

The money that is left over after your month of benefits, transfers the balance to the next.
so if you have a 300 dollar food stamp amount and only spend 275, then that 25 left over goes on your next month. |

yes they roll over in my state but if you don't spend them then the welfare office thinks you don't need them and will end up reducing them. or take them away. So try to use as much as you can |
